Hearing Test:
Our licensed audiologists can thoroughly determine the type and degree of your hearing loss. We also may give second opinions on hearing aids with hearing testing from your ENT. We offer hearing tests in Des Moines, Pella, Knoxville, and Grinnell for adults of all ages.
Hearing Aid Fitting and Programing:
Our audiologists will expertly fit and program your hearing aids to your unique ear shape and hearing loss.
Aural Rehabilitation:
Hearing loss can have both communication and psychosocial impacts on a patient. Our audiologists can help reduce hearing loss induced deficits through our training program.
Hearing Aid Cleanings:
Professionally deep cleaning your hearing aids is the best way to keep them in optimal condition. Cleaning your hearing aids will remove any earwax build-up, dust, or dirt that has become trapped in the small mechanisms of the devices.
Tinnitus Management:
Using special hearing aids with a tinnitus masking feature we can help soothe the ringing in your ears and provide counseling on tinnitus symptoms.
Hearing Protection:
We create custom hearing protection that is molded to your individual ear shape. This includes musician’s plugs, hunter’s plugs, swimmer’s plugs, and ear plugs for noisy environments.
Hearing Aid Accessories:
We may certify you for amplified phones and captioned phones, that are often free due to federal/state programs. There are TV devices that connect to your hearing device. Some cell phones also may be paired with certain hearing aids.
Earwax Removal:
Earwax can often build-up in our ears causing a blockage and even temporary hearing problems. We can safely and effectively remove any excess earwax, keeping your ears clean and hearing their best.
